We offer specialized backgrounds in pediatric, cardiac and regional anesthesia. We are all experts in the safe use of IV ketamine and IV vitamins.
Angela Pennell, MD
Dr. Pennell began practicing in Grand Junction with Anesthesia Consultants of Western Colorado and St. Mary's Hospital in 2009. She is a fellowship-trained, pediatric anesthesiologist providing care for a full spectrum of patients on the Western Slope from infants to the elderly. She completed medical school at The University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, and residency and fellowship at The University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill. |
John Cox, MD
Dr. Cox moved to Grand Junction in the Fall of 2016. He previously practiced at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville Indiana for 10 years where he served as chief of the department from 2013-2015. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Texas State University, his medical degree from Ross University School of medicine and his post graduate residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He is board certified in the specialty of Anesthesiology. |
Nathan W Williams, MD
Dr. Williams enjoys his practice of Anesthesiology on the Western Slope. After his fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Williams practiced at Colorado Permanente Medical Group in Denver for 5 years before joining Anesthesia Consultants of Western Colorado in 2009. He provides anesthetic services for a wide variety of patients including orthopedic patients and critically ill trauma and thoracic patients. |
Cody Hogeston, MD
Dr. Hogeston completed his medical school and anesthesia training at Indiana University. He joined Anesthesia Consultants of Western Colorado in 2009. Upon arrival to Grand Junction, he helped establish a regional anesthesia program to help surgical patients with acute pain at St. Mary's Medical Center and Grand Valley Surgical Center |
