Vitamin Infusion
High Dose Vitamin C for Cancer Treatment
Treatment Goal
Humans cannot make Vitamin C, so they must get it from foods they eat or from vitamin supplements. Vitamin C used to treat illness and help cancer patients has been studied for over 50 years. For those suffering with these problems, it is very difficult or impossible to consume enough Vitamin C so that it can reach cells in the body that are "sick."
High dose IV Vitamin C is safe and well tolerated. For cancer patients, it offers pain relief, lessens fatigue and toxic side effects from chemotherapy and improves quality of life. There are also ongoing studies about high dose Vitamin C specifically targeting cancer cells.
Intravenous vitamin C is an immune system booster and has anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-histamine properties. Very high doses of vitamin C may help destroy cancer cells.
*We require recent bloodwork to show normal kidney function and blood counts ( high dose Vitamin C can cause kidney stones and anemia).
